The following terms have the meaning given to them below in the context of these Terms of Use:

2. Purpose and Scope
2.1 Purpose
These Terms of Use define the conditions for accessing and using the Tallyd Service.
2.2 Acceptance of Terms
Using the Service implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms. By creating an Account, the User acknowledges having read, understood and accepted the Terms without reservation.
If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Service.

3. Access and Registration
3.1 Registration Requirements
To use the Service, the User must:
- Be of legal age (18 years or older) or have authorization from a legal guardian
- Have a valid and verifiable email address
- Act on their own behalf or be duly authorized to act on behalf of a legal entity
- Not be a resident of a country subject to international economic sanctions
3.2 Account Creation
Account creation can be done via:
- Email and password: Enter an email address, create a secure password, validate by email
- Google OAuth: Sign in with an existing Google account
3.3 Account Security
The User is solely responsible for:
- The confidentiality of their credentials (email, password)
- Any use of their Account
- Logging out at the end of a session on a shared device
4. Service Description
4.1 Main Features
Tallyd is a SaaS platform for multi-platform payment reconciliation. The Service allows you to:
- Connect payment platforms: Securely connect your Stripe, PayPal, LemonSqueezy, Paddle and YouTube AdSense accounts
- Automatic synchronization: Automatically retrieve your transactions from these platforms
- Intelligent reconciliation: Identify and match corresponding transactions between platforms
- Analytics dashboard: Visualize your revenue, trends and key metrics
- Data export: Export your transactions in CSV format for your accounting
- Notifications: Receive email alerts (large payments, sync errors, weekly digest)

4.3 Read-Only Access
Important: Tallyd accesses your payment platforms in read-only mode. The Service can never make payments, issue refunds, modify your account settings, or access your bank details.
5. User Obligations
5.1 Proper Use
The User agrees to use the Service:
- In accordance with these Terms
- In compliance with applicable laws
- In good faith and fairly
- Without infringing on the rights of third parties
5.2 Prohibited Activities
It is strictly forbidden to use the Service for:
- Illegal activities: Money laundering, tax fraud, financing of illegal activities
- Security breaches: Intrusion attempts, reverse engineering, bypassing security measures
- Service abuse: Scraping, automated bots, intentional server overload
- Limit circumvention: Creating multiple accounts to avoid restrictions
- Unfair competition: Using data to develop a competing service
6. Intellectual Property
The Publisher holds all intellectual property rights relating to the Service, including the source code, user interface, "Tallyd" trademarks and associated logos, and the reconciliation algorithms.
License of Use
The Publisher grants the User a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service, limited in time to the duration of the Subscription.
7. Liability
7.1 Limitations
The Publisher cannot be held liable for:
- The accuracy, completeness or availability of data from third-party platforms
- Decisions made by the User based on information from the Service
- Unavailability of third-party platforms (Stripe, PayPal, etc.)
- Reconciliation errors (automatic reconciliation is not 100% guaranteed)
- Indirect damages (loss of revenue, loss of customers, reputational harm)
7.2 Liability Cap
In any event, the Publisher's total liability is limited to the amounts paid by the User during the last 12 months.

9. Termination
9.1 Termination by User
The User can terminate their Account at any time from Settings > Delete my account.

- Current subscription: remains active until the end of the paid period
10. General Provisions
10.1 Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by French law.
10.2 Dispute Resolution
Step 1 - Amicable Resolution: Any dispute must first be subject to a written complaint to support@tallyd.org. The Publisher commits to respond within 30 days.
Step 2 - Mediation (consumers): Consumer Users may use our mediation service free of charge:
